La 20ème édition de la Diagonale des Fous se déroulait du 18 au 21 octobre dernier.

Notre ami et membre du GNT, Henri SANZ, y participait mais au-delà de l’aspect sportif de l’épreuve longue de 170km NDLR,

il a permis en collaboration avec l’association Run Handi Move (http://www.runhandimove.re) que l’accès aux sentiers les plus escarpés et aux merveilles de la nature de l’île Réunionnaise soit  possible pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.

 

C’est à bord de « Joëlette », engin monté sur une roue centrale et muni de brancard pour les parties les plus difficiles, que des enfants découvrent ces paysages longtemps restés inaccessibles.

Un grand BRAVO pour cette initiative au long cours (66h04mn54s) qui correspond bien à l’esprit d’Henri et qui s’inscrit également dans la continuité d’actions menées par le GNT avec l’association Gabyn & Eulaly.
